Subject: After Render...it locks!

I am using the Toaster's LW 3.5. I have had this version I guess since
October. It has NEVER done what I am about to explain.
All I had was a cylinder in LAYOUT and 1 image (64 color brush from
DPaint) that I have used as a surface in Cylindrical mapping on its Y axis.
I had the output out thru the Toaster (I normally do).
Everything rendered okay on that frame (it is NOT an anim, just F9 it)
after it rendered I hit the RETURN key to get back to LAYOUT but it would
not respond! I have tried the ESC key as well and nothing. I do notice
something different and that is when I was flipping thru my screens there
are 2 of the SAME screens with the message of how much time and frame and
stuff! I was thinking I might have been on the wrong frame so I tried to
hit RETURN and ESC key on that frame and still nothing. CPU % is normal
so LW itself was not eating up CPU time.
Have anyone else ever had this problem with Toaster's LW 3.5?
It ONLY happened one time to me and it seems to be a pretty solid
program to me, but I really have not touch the surface when it comes to
power of Lightwave. :-)
Thanks for your time
Good day
Alex
